Hi, my name is Ava Gracen Grainger. My mom, April Grainger, opened a gift boutique 11 years ago but closed it following my grandmother's breast cancer diagnosis. 

Now that all is well and I am a sophomore in college, we have decided to reopen Surcies but with my own personal twist. Rebranding, new inventory and plans to grow have been the center of conversation at our house for the past few weeks now.

My aunt Amy also owned a boutique in North Myrtle Beach, SC and I used to shop with her alllll the time! Once when I was maybe 4 or 5 someone (jokingly) asked me where I got my curly hair and I proceeded to tell her "my aunt mamy's store" because that was my go to answer.  

Sooo, Surcies is now an online women's boutique and I am excited for the journey ahead. I will update this blog with inside stories about collection names, new developments and more!
